We are looking for enthusatic VOLUNTEERS!

We guarantee a great day out so bring a friend and cheer on the BRAVO participants. Whether you can donate a few hours or the full two days, we welcome everyone to the BRAVO family.

BRAVO CHALLENGE is a multi-fitness 2 day challenge incorporating trail running, natural obstacles, manmade obstacles, inflatables and boot camp drills…the emphasis is on FUN, there is mud, you will get wet and you will laugh. Set in the Wollongong Region the Challenge takes place over 2 days – Saturday September 3rd and Sunday September 4th. You can choose to participate in 1 or 2 days. Our Marshal Program is calling for people to lend a hand and join in the fun!

Start Finish Line is at Summit Park – Mount Keira

Parking will be available at the Summit Car Park and then at the 3 Challenge Points. You will be positioned either at the Start/Finish Site, The Girl Guide Camp, Byarong Park or the Old Mine Site.

Your role will be to monitor a Challenge or Obstacle. You will provide assistance to challengers where needed and based on your brief you will ensure the challenge/ obstacle remains safe for the challengers.

Each shift will vary, however you will all need to be onsite at 7.45am and will finish anywhere between 2pm-4pm pending the Challenge/Obstacle you are assigned.

What to bring – Chair for the down times. Hat, Sunscreen, poncho in case of wet weather

What to wear – Exercise or comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes or runners

 

7:45am Arrive and Checki in at the Volunteer Marquee Collect your vest, lunch and Water.
8:00am General Briefing Collect radio
8:15am Move to your allocated position with Course Director  
8:20-8:45am Challenge/Obstacle specific briefing At your marshall location
9:00am First wave commences from the Start Line  

 

Start Finish Line is at Stuart Park, Wollongong 

Parking will be available at the Stuart Park, Challenge Points are along the foreshore area, beach and Lang Park (turn around point). You will be positioned either at the Start/Finish Site, the foreshore, continental pools, harbor, rock walls, jetty or Lang Park.

Your role will be to monitor a Challenge or Obstacle. You will provide assistance to challengers where needed and based on your brief you will ensure the challenge/ obstacle remains safe for the challengers.

Each shift will vary, however you will all need to be onsite at 7.15am and will finish anywhere between 2pm-4pm pending the Challenge/Obstacle you are assigned.
