  • What is Bravo?

BRAVO Challenge will get your adrenaline pumping and provide a sense of accomplishment unlike no other.
Combining physical obstacles with boot camp drills and strategy activities, BRAVO Challenge is designed to showcase your skills, make you laugh, work as a team and have you achieving the impossible. Tailored for all ages and fitness levels, each day is different and an awesome challenge for everyone. 

  • How old do I need to be?

All race participants need to be a minimum of 16 years of age. Anyone under 18 years of age will need to have a guardian or parent sign a waiver for participation. The event is open to both male and females. Children are allowed at the event, we’ll have heaps of exciting things for the kids to do and see and the hub to keep them occupied and having fun too. 

  • How fit do I need to be to enter?

BRAVO Challenge caters for all levels of fitness!

 

  • What should I bring?

We strongly recommend long pants, or leggings and long socks to make your course comfortable and provide protection. Running or hiking shoes are sufficient to attempt the course. Keep clothing light, as you are guaranteed to warm up during the course. Water bladders are a good way to keep rehydrated. It is advised you bring a change of clothes and a towel.
Go Pro's or similar devices may be worn, however, we take no responsibility if they are lost during your course. We advise you to secure the device during water or mud obstacles.
 
  • What is the minimum age to enter?

  • How much does registration cost?

 

Early bird registrations start at $70 for 1 day or $120 for 2 days
Please note: this early bird price is only valid till the 30th APRIL 2016. Make sure you GET IN QUICK!
Main stream registrations start from $80 for 1 day or $140 for 2 days

Please note: the main stream price is only valid from the 1st April to the 14th August 2016. Make sure you GET IN QUICK!
Last minute registrations start from $90 for 1 day or $160 for 2 day

  • Do I need to compete in a team?

The all new BRAVO can be completed as an individual, duo, small or large team! Your choice!

 

  • Is there water or first aid available on course?

Water will be available periodically during the course. First Aid qualified personnel and equipment will be positioned along the course, as well as a doctor available at the medical area near the finish line. Along the way there will be course professionals there to help, these guys are all First Aid qualified.

 

  • Are there change rooms and showers to use after the event?

There will not be change rooms at the Start/Finish – just toilet facilities. We will have a bag drop in case you want to pack a change of clothes for afterwards. (You will get WET on day 2).

 

  • Where do I store valuables?

There will be a baggage/cloak tent for you to use at the event. We recommend to leave your valuables in your car or with any spectators that may accompany you.

 

  • Does the event provide transport to and from the venue?

  • Where do I park?

  • How long will the course take to complete?

This is a tough one….Everyone will take the course on their own pace. And each level is different.  We estimate that you will be done anywhere from 1 - 3 hours… each day.

 

  • Do I need to know how to swim?

Maximum swim is 25m and the water is mid waist height so you can wade if necessary, life savers will be on the water challenges.

 

  • Will my time be recorded?

No, BRAVO is all about getting in and having a go. Feel free to time yourself though! We'll have a clock at the start so you can use this to clock your own time. 

 

  • What food and drink will be available at the venue?

Day 1 will see minimal food vendors due to site restrictions. It will all be made up for on Day 2 as we will have plently of food trucks and vendors at the Finish Line Festival.

 

  • Can I view the course in advance?

 

Of course! The course will be released in the newsletters. Make sure you’re signed up - Email us at [email protected] to sign up for the newsletter.

 

  • Is there free water available before, during and after the event?

Water stations will be located at the Start/Finish Line and throughout the course. It’s just tap water though, if you’re after the fancy stuff then that will be there for purchase too.

 

  • What do I recieve as part of registering?

All participants will recieve a BRAVO ID, a ticket to the BRAVO Arvo guest speakers and cheeky drinks as well as an exclusive BRAVO gift.

 

  • When should I arrive for the event?

      You will need to arrive at least 30minutes before your start time.
