Former Australian Commando, Master mentor & coach, Evennett Warrior Athlete

Scott Evenett is a former Australian Commando and Entrepreneur with the #1 online Custom Mentoring Package, he is a sought after, respected life success coach. He applies his own ‘no limits’ approach to his brand, ensuring that Evennett is about the strength of one’s mind as much as it is about the strength of one’s body. As a respected bodybuilder and trainer, he is placed in highly challenging and competitive arenas. Strict commitment to his disciplines is the key to Scott’s success.

Scott's personal history is a tribute to the significiance he accords the mind/body connect. His early childhood years were spent as a gymnast. At the age of sixteen, he moved from Sydney to pursue a career in professional football. Whilst in the UK, Scott played for Port Talbot (Welsh Premier League) and Swansea City Juniors (English Second Division). While the disciplines are ostensibly worlds apart, they both required the same incredible mental focus and physical endurance.

Upon relocating to Australia, Scott joined the military forces. For five of the eight years he spent serving in the military, Scott earned a position within the Special Operations Command. He developed extensive knowledge of Special Operations in Counter Terrorism and Counter Insurgency across Australia and the Middle East. After three tours of Afghanistan, Scott turned the mastery he acquired during his military career toward mentoring programs reaching out globally.

Laura Moore

Queen of Uppy - on a global mission to help driven women find thier "Uppy" - to live more and perform at their peak

Laura has experienced first hand the effects that a highly driven mindset and lifestyle can have on the body. In order to shift her life, Laura embarked upon a journey of self discovery. Whilst on this journey, Laura gained a deeper insight into her own personal experiences of working through body issues, perfectionism, self-sabotage and over working.

Throughout this journey, Laura gained a unique perspective on all factors that can effect health and performance, adn the solutions needed not only to overcome them, but to take control and use them for positive change. Upon her reflection, Laura realised her situation is far from unique, and that everyday women are facing the same issues that she has had. In order to help support women, Laura created UPPY, a forum that is there to support women to re-evaluate the importance of a balanced lifestyle. Aiming to re-model womens approach to life, so that they can rebalance the important aspects and concentrate on what is truly important. Laura is now a role model for many women who can relate to the struggles that she has been through and the steps needed to rebalance their lives.

About Headspace

One in four young people have experienced a mental health issue in the past 12 months. Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young Australians aged 15-44. headspace Wollongong provides free support to young people aged 12-25 years going through a tough time. Our services include counselling and mental health support, physical health, sexual health and contraception, drug and alcohol issues, and education and employment services. We also run activities, events and workshops aimed at engaging the local community, raising awareness and understanding about mental health, and breaking down barriers to seeking help.

Research shows that 75% of mental health issues emerge before the age of 25. By treating these issues early and providing a holistic model of support, the risk of them developing into more serious problems is greatly decreased.
